Unaccompanied migrant youth, who flee to another country without their guardians are exposed to mental health difficulties.  Little research has focused on the needs of this section of society.  The video presentation of our SIGCHI CHI2020 paper "Supporting the Supporters of Unaccompanied Migrant Youth: Designing for Social-ecological Resilience" below shows how we investigated support structures that promote resilience and the complex challenges that exist.

We present the socio-ecological model of resilience to support the design of technologies to help strengthen support systems for young people.
