On the 10th of May, I attended the Head Injury Information Day (HiiD) event for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region, which was held at the DoubleTree hotel in Glasgow.

It was organised by Digby Brown Solicitors and the Glasgow Brain Injury Network Group, and it involved over 30 organisations and services related to Acquired Brain Injury, which operate in Scotland.

Besides the very interesting lectures and presentations about brain injury and its symptoms, there was a very large exhibition where each organisation demonstrated their action and the services they provide.

I talked to the representatives of the exhibitors, and described my research plans and the purpose of the TEAM project.

I met many people who were interested in the project, and eager to participate and contribute in our future research.

Overall, the HiiD was a great experience, and a very valuable opportunity for networking with professionals in the field of Brain Injury. I will try to go again next year, and perhaps this time as an exhibitor.
