TEAM IS HIRING - Are you a Computer Scientist considering a PhD

If you are a graduate with a background in computer science or human computer interaction then you might be interested in joining the TEAM ITN network as a research assistant for a temporary post.  This generously paid 10 month research position is ideal for anyone considering undertaking a PhD. 

The position based at University College Dublin is a full-time research focused role, where you will conduct a specified research project as part of a European Innovative Training Network (ITN) called TEAM (Technology-Enabled Mental Health).   Funded by H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action (MSCA), the TEAM ITN research programme will deliver new technologies that support rapid and large-scale assessment, prevention and treatment of mental health difficulties in young people. The overall research program will be achieved through 15 interconnected individual research projects.  

The primary purpose of this role is to design and develop an adaptive platform that supports the creation of therapeutic computer games for adolescent mental health.  

Important Note:

The MSCA has restrictions on mobility and research experience and requires that candidates are:

  • Early Stage Researchers -(within the first four years of their research career not having been awarded a doctoral degree).
  • PLUS researchers may not have resided in Ireland for more than 12 months in the previous three years prior to the start date.
