The TEAM program aims to contribute to the specific objectives of the MSCA ITNs ‘to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early stage researchers able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit; and ‘to provide enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sector through international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility combined with an innovation-oriented mind-set’.
Over the course of the program each ESR will have the opportunity to extend their previous experience, but will also develop expertise in two additional disciplines, thus helping to produce a new generation of cross-disciplinary researchers.
A total of 15 TEAM ESRs will join the program with excellent qualifications in psychology, computer science, interaction design, health sciences, and law. TEAM will build on this single-discipline training in three dimensions:
- improving their theoretical understanding in both a clinical and technology context,
- accelerating their practical skills and experience through training, research and secondments, and
- honing their technical skills in terms of an ability to co-develop technology solutions for YMH.
